Street Stories: Meet Tyler

We have annual opportunities for people to help us raise the funds we need to continue our work. Here are just a few of those options:

Events
YES hosts an annual Golf Outing in May and Metro Stars Dance for a Chance in August. Volunteers are always needed to help plan and staff these events.
Learn more about the events »

Cox Classic Volunteer
YES is one of the community organizations working at Nebraska's only professional golf event, the Cox Classic. We recruit volunteers to work in several areas of the tournament operations. You can help by filling out a volunteer application on www.coxclassic.com and noting you would like your volunteers hours to go to YES.

Holiday Drive
Organize a holiday drive to fulfill items on the YES wish list. Each program plans a special holiday party for the youth in its programs. Youth receive presents, a dinner and fun activities. Help our homeless and at-risk youth have a brighter holiday. 2010 Holiday Wish List

Part-time Receptionist at Administrative Office
Direct phone calls to program facilities, greet visitors and assist staff with events and mailings.

Meals
Every day, YES provides meals to dozens of youth. You can help with this service by helping staff prepare meals at the Drop-In Center or providing a Wednesday dinner at the Drop-In Center.

Mentor
Join our Mentor with H.E.A.R.T.S. (Helping Establish a Right Transition) program. Provide support and guidance to young mothers in our Maternity Group Home or young adults in our Transitional Living Program. Please complete the following application. Mentor Application
