Youth Emergency Services (YES) is pleased to announce the hiring of Mary Fraser Meints as its next Executive Director.
"I have always felt that Omaha is a loving community that cares deeply for our homeless and most at-risk children," Meints says.
"Together with our amazing staff, volunteers, sponsors and collaborative partners, we will make an impact in the lives of these youth."
A leading advocate for at-risk-children and youth in Nebraska, Meints has served in leadership roles with Uta Halee Girls Village and The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services. Meints was a member of the Governor’s Commission on Children in 2003, President of the Nebraska Association of Homes and Services for Children and served on the Douglas Co. Treatment Team.
“I am excited to grow the services needed for this vulnerable population,” says Meints. “As a community we can work together to provide these youth with the resources they require to be successful.”
