Youth Emergency Services

YES Selected by the Family and Youth Service Bureau

3/23/2009

YES is proud to announce that it is one of only 24 organizations nationwide asked to participate in the process of revising performance standards for programs funded by the Administration for Children and Families (ACF).

Executive Director, Bob Storey, will represent YES in the process of revising and improving ACF program standards. The end result will be an objective set of standards for all such programs and overall improvement in the service provision.

The workgroup has members comprised of Federal staff, Runaway and Homeless Youth grantees and representatives from agencies concerned with youth homelessness.

The group will begin meeting the week of March 30 and conclude activities by June 30, 2009. Storey is honored and excited to dedicate his time to developing these important performance standards.
