Our volunteers are the heart and soul of our mission. Each year, volunteers donate countless hours to help us respond to the needs of youth in crisis. We are deeply grateful for the dedication and support of volunteers to further our mission and support the needs of our agency.

Current Volunteer Opportunities
We currently do not have any onsite volunteer opportunities. Our biggest need at this time is with meal preparation and donation.
Sponsor a meal: We serve a daily meal at our Street Outreach Center every Monday through Friday. We are in need of volunteers to sign up, prepare, and deliver meals. Please visit our meal calendar page here to view additional details and available dates. You can also sign up for a meal directly through this page.
Please contact Maren Larsen, Mentor & Volunteer Coordinator, at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
Student Internships and Practicums
YES is interested in speaking to students requiring an internship or practicum hours to complete their educational requirements. We offer unpaid internships and practicums which provide an invaluable experience to students selected for our Administrative and Street Outreach locations. Our goal is to find interns and students that want to make a difference!
Because we have a limited number of openings, we only accept applications when there is an opening. To view current internship and practicum openings, please check out YES on Indeed.com.
After reviewing the job posting and if believe you meet the qualifications, please apply online. Thank you!
Students required to complete service learning hours may do so to benefit YES by organizing a fundraiser or donation drive, preparing a meal, making fleece blankets, or organizing other benefits. Because students are peers of the youth we serve, YES asks that service learning hours be completed off-site.
