Our Street Outreach Center is consistently in need of FROZEN AND PREPARED MEALS to feed the hundreds of youth experiencing homelessness and near-homelessness in the Omaha community.
We will be ending our homemade meal program and will be switching back to catered options beginning January 3rd. If your business or church has a commercial kitchen where you typically prepare your meals, we will continue to accept those.
However, meals prepared in personal homes will no longer be accepted after December 31st. We will also be adjusting the number of meals needed to 15 youth. Meals provided before January 3rd can also adjust to the 15 meal count.
We ask that meals being prepared in church or business kitchens follow safety standards of proper hand washing, gloves, proper food handling and storage, etc. The safety of the youth we serve is our top priority and hope you understand!
Thank you for feeding hungry youth in our community!
